CMS is committed to providing justice services that address the unique needs of individuals and families. Our Juvenile Justice programs focus on working with at-risk youth to prevent their involvement in the justice system – offering guidance, support, and interventions that promote positive behavior, educational success, and personal growth. CMS offers Legal Stability Services, assisting individuals in navigating complex legal systems and providing access to legal resources and guidance. Nearly 96% of our clients involved/impacted within the justice system are motivated to continue their education.
Through these services, we aim to ensure that individuals have the necessary support to resolve legal issues and maintain stability within the community. Our Immigration Education initiatives provide vital information and resources to individuals and families navigating the intricacies of immigration processes. We strive to empower individuals with knowledge about their rights, options, and available resources, fostering understanding and informed decision-making. With a commitment to justice and stability, CMS works diligently to provide complete support and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring access to justice and promoting legal cognition within the community.

CMS’ Justice programming strives to improve outcomes for court-involved individuals, emphasizing youth and adults aged 13-24. We provide intensive support and skill building through goal setting, education and counseling, advocacy, family stability, job readiness, and employment skills. Partnering with courts, we offer effective incarceration alternatives that keep families intact and strengthen communities. CMS believes in working to develop a system that actively promotes racial equity, diverts youth away from the system wherever possible and advances public safety. Clients who participate in our justice programs have a completion rate of 80%, which is higher than the completion rate of other programs. Our program has been proven to significantly reduce recidivism rates by 98% compared to those who do not participate.
